Privacy policy
ScoreCard Lite is a free tool from Mambo Marketing. This page explains what we fetch, what we send to identify your competitors, what we store, and for how long, in plain language.
What we fetch
When you compare your website, we read the public pages of your company and the rivals' public sites are fetched the same way — the homepage and a handful of linked pages, their sitemaps, and their robots.txt, for every company in the set. We also run a public PageSpeed Insights check and look up each domain's public archive history on the Wayback Machine. Nothing behind a login, paywall, or robots.txt disallow is fetched.
How we find your competitors
Your company's domain, name, and public homepage text are sent to Perplexity, a third-party web-research provider, to identify your closest direct competitors — up to five — from cited public sources — see how we pick the competitors for the rules that result follows. The same provider researches each company's public social presence and press coverage. Archive history — how often a homepage has changed, and for how long a domain has existed — comes from the Internet Archive's Wayback Machine, a public, third-party service.
What we store
- A report — the scores, evidence, and narrative for a comparison — is kept for 90 days.
- A domain's underlying signals are cached for 7 days so a repeat comparison runs faster.
- If you unlock a full report, your work email, name, and consent are stored as a lead so Mambo can follow up.
What we do not do
We do not sell your data, and we do not share it with anyone outside Mambo Marketing.
